Songs For Babies

Welcome to Songs for Babies.
Singing is a great way to interact and communicate with your baby from birth right through to school age and beyond.
It is now widely understood that teaching your baby communication and social skills through singing, talking and interacting with baby from the beginning helps their brain development and will enable them to have a wider set of communication and social skills than without.
It's never too late to start and essentially, never too early to start! In fact, babies start to recognise your voice in the last

two months they spend in the womb!
So, incorporate singing, chatter and talking in a gentle voice into your daily routines and remember the key is repetition.
Eventually your child will start to learn basic words and understand the correct way to communicate.

Tickly under there!

Wiggle your toes

Wood and clay will wash away,
Wash away, wash away,

My fair Lady.

Build it up with bricks and mortar,
Bricks and mortar, bricks and mortar,

My fair Lady.

Build it up with silver and gold,
Silver and gold, silver and gold,

My fair Lady.

Silver and gold will be stolen away,
Stolen away, stolen away,
Silver and gold will be stolen away,
My fair Lady.

Set a man to watch all night,
Watch all night, watch all night,
Set a man to watch all night,
My fair Lady.

Suppose the man should fall asleep,
Fall asleep, fall asleep,
Suppose the man should fall asleep?
My fair Lady.

Give him a pipe to smoke all night,
Smoke all night, smoke all night,
Give him a pipe to smoke all night,
My fair Lady.
